MARGAO: The Curtorim Cultural Committee announced that the 17th edition of the ‘Festival of Curtorkars’, the annual carnival programme in the village will be held on February, 10, 11 and then after a gap of a day, February 13.
The Curtorim Cultural Committee has lined up a host of events, competitions and performances on all three days. The float parade led by King Momo on Sunday, February 11 will commence at 5:30 pm from the Maina Tinto and will head up to the Curtorim Market Square. The floats will have an open category meaning it’s open for all other villages while there will be participation from Curtorim wards also.
The festival will also feature various competitions such as Singing, Group Dancing for juniors and seniors, comedy, drawing, fancy dress and other contests such as ice carving, vegetable carving, flower decoration, and cooking. There will be a musical evening on the concluding day.
