Mapusa: A 21-year-old Maina Curtorim resident one Kith Telles died in an accident reported at Karaswada on Sunday while 21-year-old pillion rider Raksha Dangui was critically injured and is currently undergoing treatment at Goa Medical College and hospital at Bambolim.
According to police, there was a collision between a truck and a scooter at 3.30 pm at Karaswada junction, Mapusa which resulted into the death of Telles.
The truck driver immediately fled from the site after the accident. Head Constable Kishore Naik is investigating the case.
