Damu appointed Chairman of ESG

PANJIM: Former Fatorda MLA Damodar Naik has been appointed chairman of Entertainment Society of Goa on 23rd June. St Andre MLA Vishnu Wagh who was the previous chairman was stripped of the post.

PANJIM: Former Fatorda MLA Damodar Naik has been appointed chairman of Entertainment Society of Goa on 23rd June. St Andre MLA Vishnu Wagh who was the previous chairman was stripped of the post. 
The chief minister remains the ex officio chairman of the ESG.
Naik, who was in the reckoning for the South Goa BJP candidate, is also the chairman of Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. Purnanand Chari, Rajendra Talak and Sharmad Raiturkar also find place on the committee along with Tivim MLA Kiran Kandolkar. Calangute MLA Michael Lobo, the chief secretary, finance secretary, secretary (I and B), art and culture director, director information and CCP councillor  Vaidehi Naik are the other members.
