MARGAO: Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat has condoled the death of veteran Congress leader and social worker Chandrakant Prabhu who was also the first sarpanch of the Sristhal panchayat.
Stating that he is deeply pained to know about Chandrakant’s death, Digambar said: “He was a loyal Congressman and always in the forefront to help the downtrodden and needy.” He also said that Chandrakant served honestly as the first sarpanch of Sristhal village in Canacona taluka.
