Decision after Christmas: Hari

The decision on Mickky’s induction into the Digambar Kamat cabinet would be taken after Christmas, the Congress General Secretary in-charge of Goa Desk B K Hariprasad said on Thursday.
In a telephonic conversation with Herald, Hariprasad said he has come to understand about the revolt by the Congress legislators against plans to induct Mickky into the cabinet.
“We are seized of the issue and the chief minister as well as the GPCC president is holding talks with the group,” Hariprasad said.
Asked whether the high command has given clearance for Mickky’s induction into the cabinet, he said, “not yet….may be after Christmas.”
The dissident group, which had threatened to pull the government down, had also demanded that the general secretary come immediately to Goa to sort out the issue.
When asked when he will arrive in State, Hariprasad said, “after Christmas.”
