The discussion was held at a meeting with the MMC Chief Officer on Monday.
Chief Officer Y B Tawde, owners of Keni and Kavlekar petrol pump and a representative of Hindustan Petroleum were present.
The petrol pumps had defaulted in their payments to the MMC for years now and several discussions and deliberations failed to provide any solution to the issue.
The land which belongs to the MMC has been leased to the petrol pumps and they have demanded that the lands be leased to them once again.
“I have not promised leasing out any land to the owners and only after the issue is placed before the council meeting it will be decided accordingly,” Tawde said.
