PANJIM: Dr G S Saini, director of National Civil Defence College will be arriving in Goa on May 12.
He has been invited by the Department of Civil Engineering of Don Bosco College, Fatorda as the guest speaker to deliver his lecture on May 13 afternoon session during their week-long workshop on ‘Engineering Management Strategies for Sustainable Development’ being held from May 9 to May 13.
On May 13, Dr Saini will visit police headquarters in Panjim at 10.30 am and interact with the wardens and civil defence volunteers of Goa.
Dr Saini has done his specialization in explosives, meteorological systems, disaster management and WMD responder operations, hazardous material/ weapons of mass destruction trainer.
