Delhi-bound Indigo flight makes emergency landing

VASCO: An IndiGo flight to Delhi from Goa, with 183 passengers and three infants on board made emergency landing at Dabolim international airport due to low oil pressure in one of the engines of the aircraft on Sunday evening.  
According to information, Delhi-bound IndiGo flight from Goa, took off from Dabolim international airport at around 5.50 pm. However, soon after taking off the pilot of the aircraft noticed an alert of low oil pressure in one of the aircraft engines. Without wasting time the pilot took a decision to return back and immediately reported the matter to Goa Air Traffic Control (ATC) and the aircraft made a safe emergency landing, with all emergency services kept on standby. 
Yes, due to some technical issues in the engine the flight retuned back soon after the take off and made emergency landing at Dabolim airport safely. Later, all passengers were deplaned safely and were subsequently flown to Delhi by accommodating the stranded passengers in another IndiGo flight, the AAI Director BCH Negi said.
He further added that the flight is currently grounded at Dabolim airport as the IndiGo company officials are awaiting for spare parts. Once the same is received the flight will undergo repairs.
Meanwhile, chaos broke out at Dabolim airport due to emergency landing and the New Year celebration plans of many stranded passengers were spoiled. A high voltage drama prevailed until the stranded passengers departed from Goa in other IndiGo flight.
