PANJIM: All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary
and Goa desk in-charge Digvijay Singh slammed Party leadership in Goa and
stated alliance with Goa Forward is sabotaged by own leaders.
In a series of tweets released by Singh indirectly
hinted GPPC Chief Luizinho Faleiro was responsible for not breaking the deal
with Goa Forward prior to polls.
“Our alliance with Babush went through and we won
three out of five but our alliance with Goa Forward was sabotaged by our own
leaders.Sad!,” Singh tweeted on Friday.
He further tweeted, “Goa Forward won three out of four
they contested. Had our alliance with Goa Forward gone through we would have
been 22,”.
However, Faleiro speaking at the press conference in
Panjim on Friday also indirectly accused Singh for delaying the entire process
post counting.
“Yes, definitely the process was delayed. But I don’t
want to name any one or blame,” Faleiro replied when asked if Singh delayed the
process.
The trail of tweets also taken on Vishwajit Rane who
had resigned as MLA and Congressman few hours after floor test on Thursday.
“Vishwajit was having coffee with Parrikar in a hotel
when we were chosing CLP leader,” Singh sweeted.
In another tweet he further admired Pratapsingh Rane
who supported expulsion of his son from Congress.
Singh also said, “when I took charge of Goa in 2013
only 6 out of 9 were active”.
Even Congress leaders were predicting 2 – 2 seats for
Congress, he said.
He also alleged that Manohar Parrikar’s swearing in
was attended by Casino, Hotels and Mine owners in which Vishwajit was also
spotted.
