PANJIM: In view of Diwali, the State government has fixed a pay scale ceiling of Rs 4,600 for payment of bonus to employees.
An office memorandum issued on Monday by the Finance Department said that employees in Group ‘C’ and non-gazetted employees in Group ‘B’ in a pay scale of Rs 4,600 and above as on April 1, 2015 shall not be covered under the present scheme for payment of non-productivity linked bonus.
The Finance Department said that Goa government has adopted the office memorandum of the Central government. Finance Department also said that the bonus would be given to employees who were under the Pre-Employment Trainee Scheme in 2014-15 and who have been absorbed in temporary posts in various departments.
