PANJIM: The ongoing redevelopment works of Dona Paula Jetty by Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) under central funding was inspected on Wednesday.
This review at the site was conducted by Revenue Minister Jennifer Monserrate, Tourism Secretary Ashok Kumar IAS, Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) commissioner Sanjit Rodrigues, Panjim Mayor Uday Madkaikar, Water Resources Department (WRD) Superintending engineer WRD Pramod Badami, and officials of GTDC.
“Inspected the ongoing repair work at Dona Paula jetty and are collectively working towards the completion of the project,” said Monserrate.
The jetty is expected to be thrown open for the coming tourist season after having been closed for two and half years.
