MARGAO: The Department of Public Grievances has sent a second reminder to the Director of Panchayats to conduct a thorough inquiry and initiate necessary action on a complaint filed by a resident of Sao Jose de Areal Menino Fernandes against the village panchayat secretary.
In the reminder, Under Secretary Public Grievances Fransquinha Oliveira observed that despite setting a timeframe, no reply has been received from the office of the Panchayat Director. The Panchayat Director has now been directed to submit the action taken report within one week.
