MARGAO: Four members of the Dramapur-Sirlim village Panchayat has tabled a no-trust motion against Sarpanch Olasrico Rodrigues and deputy Sarpanch Edcy Fernandes.
The four signatories Rosario Manuel D’Costa, Jose Bernardo Rebello, Domnic Norohna and Netty Ferrao claimed they have tabled the notice of no-confidence motion over the non-cooperative attitude of the Sarpanch in implementing developmental works of other wards and for not taking members into confidence while taking decisions.
That the signatories were bracing up to table the no-confidence motion against the sarpanch became evident at the Sunday gram sabha when one of the signatories demanded the resignation of the Sarpanch over a road issue.
