PANJIM: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Thursday expressed its disappointment with the Diocesan Society of Education (DSE) in inviting only Catholic MLAs to voice their concerns against the government’s decisions to minority-run institutions in the State.
Speaking for the party, Dr Oscar Rebello said that while the ways of the BJP were to be questioned, the DSE’s method was “unwise”.
The AAP said that while it completely sympathized with the DSE as regards the alleged discrimination they are facing by the BJP, it should have communicated the same to all 40 MLAs, instead of “unwisely highlighting the issue only through the Catholic MLAs.”
