MARGAO: Deputy Chief Minister Vijai Sardessai will launch the Mankurad mango tree plantation drive undertaken by Transform Goa, a voluntary organization of worldwide Goans. The drive will be launched at 10 am at the Ravindra Bhavan campus.
Transform Goa that has organized Mankurad Mango festival for two successive years has launched this new initiative where they plan to distribute around 300 saplings of Mankurad Mango all over Goa.
The saplings will be planted at various schools, churches, temples in Canacona, Quepem, Salcete and Mormugao talukas states a press note issued by John de Sa of Transform Goa.
