Speaking at a function organised at Verna to distribute e-tablets to school students of Nuvem constituency, Chief Minister Manohar Parikar on Friday announced that the government would give the tabs to the teachers in the coming academic year. He also promised WI FI connection to all the schools across the state.
The Chief Minister further said that students of Std VI and IX of the current academic year will receive the tabs by August-September this year, while making a plea to the students to make good use of the e-tablets to enrich their knowledge.
The Chief Minister asserted that the tablets supplied to the students are of good quality and refuted reports made in certain quarters about hanky panky in the tender.
Nuvem MLA Mickky Pacheco thanked the Chief Minister for fulfilling the promises made to the students. He appealed to the students to make good use of the e-tablets.
