PANJIM: Economic Development Corporation employees on Monday began their four-day pen down strike to press for their long pending demands, as part of their earlier strike from November 18 to 21.
The EDC employees union had earlier observed a black day by wearing black ribbons to protest against the management. However, the EDC management failed to settle the demands and grievances of the employees, union leader A L Parab said.
Hence, the pen down strike has started, which will continue till November 28. This has resulted into zero movement of files, thus paralyzing the corporation’s work, he said.
