MARGAO: Salcete Police on Monday arrested eight persons for driving their vehicles in a rash and negligent manner in a drunken state. All the arrested drivers were later released on bail. They were booked under 185 of MV act and 279 and 336 of IPC.
Maina Curtorim police booked four cases while Margao and Colva police booked two each.
