Eight more test COVID positive in Curchorem

CURCHOREM: Eight more cases were tested positive for COVID in Curchorem-Sanvordem on Tuesday, taking the tally to 57 cases under the jurisdiction of Curchorem Upgraded Primary Health Centre.

 As per the information given by officer Dr Alita Coutinho, two women aged 20 and 52 years and a minor girl of 13 years old from Kakoda found positive. 

“At Ghannemorod-Xeldem, a 31 years old man tested positive while at Sanvordem four male persons of 23, 37, 56 and 58 years old tested positive for COVID on Tuesday taking the overall tally under our jurisdiction to 57 cases,” said Dr Coutinho.

“A man from Xeldem and other three men including two family members from Sanvordem are asked for home isolation while a 23 years old from Sanvordem and all three females including minor girl from Kakoda shifted to COVID Care Centre,” Informed Dr Coutinho.
