CALANGUTE (HC):?Unknown persons decamped with electronic items worth Rs 1.41 lakh from a car at Baga on Monday.
According to Calangute police, some persons broke the rear glass and another small glass of the Wagon R car (GA-03-C-4189) between 1 pm and 3.15 pm on Monday and decamped with Compaq Laptop along with bag plus charger, USB drive, worth Rs 40,000 belonging to Analytics Quotient, Bangalore.
The burglars also decamped with three I-pods, each worth Rs 12,000, belonging to Latika Mehra, Mehul Pratap Singh and Deepak K L, mobile phone (Rs 8,000) and charger (Rs 1,000), one headphone (Rs 2,000) and clothes, cosmetics and other items worth Rs 60,000.
Calangute police have registered an offense under Sections 379, 427 of IPC against unknown persons based on a complaint filed by Mehul Singh (25) of Bangalore. Head Constable P V Polji is investigating the case.
