Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) in a notice published on Saturday has declared the dates of the adjourned environmental hearing of three mines situated in Colomba, Sanguem and one in Pale, Bicholim.
The hearing of the Pale mine, Mauco Catodichi iron ore mine of M/s Sociedade Timblo Irmaos Ltd managed by Pandurang Timblo Industries (TC No 35/55) has been kept for February 10 at Shree Navadurga Devasthan Sabha Mandal, Deulwada, Pale, Bicholim, from 11 am onwards.
The hearing of the three mines in Colomba, which has of late seen people revolting against the activity, has been kept for February 6 at Rivona V K S Society Hall from 11 am onwards.
The three mines are: Galiem Mola Ou Calarigogo iron and manganese ore mine (TC No 41/53) and Vatasur manganese ore mine (46/51) of Vasantram G Mehta and Borgalle iron ore mine of M/s Marzook and Cadar Pvt Ltd.
