Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) Chief Executive Officer Manoj Srivastava has complained to Panjim Town Police Station that a filmmaker threatened him in his office on Thursday.
According to DySP Deu Banaulikar a complaint was filed against Sanjiv Prabhudessai, a Goan filmmaker who threatened Srivastava and the Information & Broadcasting senior bureaucrat during a meeting on the sidelines of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2010.
Police said that a non-cognizable case under Section 506 (threatening) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the filmmaker. The filmmaker’s Konkani film ‘Sood’ was screened during the IFFI 2004.

ESG is a co-host for the festival that was kicked off at Kala Academy on November 22 at the hands of Union Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee.
