Ex-Valpoi mayor dead

VALPOI, FEB 2
Former Valpoi mayor and noted businessman Anant K Teli (70) passed away following a heart attack on Saturday night.
According to sources, Teli was rushed to a private hospital in Ponda after he complained of chest pain and was later shifted to the GMC hospital at Bambolim, where he breathed his last.
People from all walks of life, including Speaker Pratapsing Rane, attended the final rites on Sunday afternoon. Teli is survived by two sons and two daughters.
