Porvorim: Two cars in the fleet of the Water Resources Department, Porvorim are left to rust while the government has recently made purchase of other high-end cars.
Such purchases involve the costs that go into crores but the lack of maintenance or attention to these cars means the wastage of public funds. When tried to contact, the officials of the Water Resources Department from Porvorim were not available for comment.
