PANJIM: Experts appointed by the Task Force Committee on Kala Academy will submit their report within a week, following which necessary changes will be made to the iconic structure, Vijay Kenkre, Chairman of the Task Force Committee, said on Tuesday.

Speaking to O Heraldo, he said that on November 10 and 11, the experts conducted a review of the sound and lighting during a special musical programme featuring drama and theatre performances at the Kala Academy auditorium.
“Three programmes were held and three experts were present for three subjects, namely lighting, sound, and architecture. The report will be submitted within a week. I feel it should be in black and white on paper,” Kenkre said.
Last month, Kenkre had pointed out that there are many problems with the Kala Academy renovation and it has not even met the required standards.
