MARGAO: In a lewd gesture, a fakir flashed at the female staff of the Margao Municipal Council (MMC) on Wednesday afternoon. A video of the incident, which occurred after 2 pm, has gone viral. The incident took place after 2 pm when some female staff were in the office building, while most male staff had gone out for lunch.
After gaining entry into the MMC building, the fakir walked up to the first floor where he entered the taxation section. As he was creating a nuisance, the staff asked him to leave. However, just before leaving, when he saw female staff in the MMC corridor, he lifted his clothing and flashed at the staff.

The shocked staff immediately contacted the MMC Chairperson, who informed the police but the man had made his escape. However, sources informed that the police caught the man near the Margao Railway Station.
Councillor Camili Barretto condemned the incident and criticised the security of MMC for this lapse and for not preventing this incident.Sources stated that this fakir has been visiting shops in Margao in the last couple of days.
