The farmers who are opposing the location of IIT at Cotarli Sanguem were called for a hearing before the Sub Divisional Magistrate Sanguem in the 107 proceedings filed against them by Sanguem Police. Friday criticised the government for harassing them and wasting their time in court proceedings.
The second hearing in the proceeding, filed by the police, was fixed for Friday but was adjourned for the second time in a row without transacting any business.
