A shocking incident was reported at the North Goa District Hospital (NGDH) in Mapusa on Tuesday after a fetus was found dumped in the hospital premises. According to sources, the fetus was allegedly abandoned by an unidentified person within the hospital compound, sparking concern and outrage among locals and hospital authorities.
The disturbing discovery prompted the immediate involvement of the forensic team, which visited the spot to collect evidence and examine the circumstances surrounding the case. Authorities are trying to determine whether the fetus was dumped following an illegal abortion or other unlawful practices. Police have also been informed and are investigating to trace the person responsible for discarding the fetus in such a manner.
