‘Film Makers’ criticises ESG for not extending IFFI invite

PONDA: ‘Film Makers’ president Milind Madgut and vice-president Mahadev Khanolkar have criticised Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) president Damu Naik for not extending IFFI invitations to the people involved in the film business in Goa. Madgut stated that artistes and filmmakers are not shown respect for their achievements and added that he and Khanolkar had not been given invitations, which is an insult for them. Both claimed that they had contributed to production of films and serials in Goa, but they are being neglected, while invitations are mostly given to BJP workers, some of whom have no knowledge of drama and films.
