MAYEM: In view of the nationwide Fire Services Week from April 14 to 21, the Goa State Fire and Emergency Services Department will organise a drawing competition for school students at every fire station in the State.
The Bicholim fire station authorities will organise the competition for students of Bicholim taluka at Government Primary School on April 5 from 3 to 5 pm.
The competition, which will be organised in two categories (7-10 and 11-14 years), will be based on two topics.The junior category will be given the topic ‘Precautions to be taken if fire emerges at home and schools’, while the senior category will have the topic ‘Precautions to be taken in case of fire at neighbourhood’.
Bicholim fire station sub-officer Atchut Dhawaskar has requested students to participate in the contest.
