Under the supervision of the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the first trial flight landed at the Mopa Greenfield Airport, in Pernem. It is a moment of great celebration for the proponents of Mopa when an Indigo flight landed at the not-yet-ready airport. The aircraft taxied down the runway and the media was given a glimpse of the landing.
