PANJIM: Expressing dissatisfaction over the fishing activity, Mandovi Fisheries Marketing Co-operative Society (MFMCS) Vice Chairman, Francis D’Souza has said that since the fishing ban came to end, only 25 percent of the boats have ventured into the sea due to lack of labour.
D’Souza said, “Only 25 percent boats have ventured into the sea out of the 300 boats at the Malim jetty. This is due to the lack of labour force. We cannot start full scale operation until the entire labour force is in line. “
