PANJIM: The 2nd edition of the Goa Food and Hospitality Expo, Goa’s biggest exhibition on hotel and restaurant equipment and supplies which is currently going on at the air conditioned Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Bambolim organised by Media Promotions Pvt Ltd, will be open till Aug 24, from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm.
The expo was inaugurated by the chief guest – President of the Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) and MD of Double Tree by Hilton Francisco Bragança in the presence of the 5 lady GMs of Goa who were the Guests of Honour and included GM of Goa Marriott Resort Ranju Alex, GM of Cidade de Goa Neeta Brid, GM of Bogmallo Beach Resort Sadhana Mukundan, GM of Double Tree by Hilton Swati Dhir and GM of Devaaya Mabel Pereira. MDs Media Promotions Pvt Ltd, Kedar Dhume and Clive Sequeira and Director Hotel Supply Mart.com Herbbie Siddhu were also present.
The guests went around the stalls and expressed keen interest in the exhibits. On display were kitchen and bakery equipment, F&B products, bed and bathroom linen, refrigeration equipment etc.
The highlights include an exclusive wine arena, a culinary class by Chef Kunal Arolkar on Saturday at 11 am to 1:30 pm on baking and from 2:30pm to 4pm on chocolate making.
