Mapusa: Under the banner of United Arambol, three foreign nationals who are presently residing at Khalchawada, Arambol, have taken up an initiative to distribute 5000 face masks in Arambol Jurisdiction.
With the help of locals, these three foreign nationals who travel every year to Goa and reside in Arambol for a few months, have taken up this initiative through a self-raised fund.

As a responsibility towards the ongoing world-wide health emergency, Dean Marque from New Zealand along with his American wife Elizabeth Michelle, and friend Zouzou from Germany, have decided to distribute 100 per cent washable cotton face masks to people who are moving around on streets for shopping without face masks, which they say is dangerous.
“The situation of India especially Goa is quite better compare to other countries. Now since we are here in Goa, as a responsibility, we have taken up the initiative to distribute mask to people who move around without face masks, especially to the supermarket and grocery stores,” they added pointing out to possible crowds at this spots.
