PONDA: Forest officials trapped a leopard at Kerwada-Usgao in the wee hours of Tuesday.
According to residents, they had complained to the forest officials that the leopard had killed many cows and dogs in the area and fearing the wild cat, they had requested the forest officials to lay a trap.
Acting on the request of the residents, the forest officials laid a trap at Kerwada-Usgao and the leopard was trapped in the cage set up in the wee hours of Tuesday. Later, the leopard was transported to Bondla zoo, informed the officials.
