PANJIM: The North Goa Collector and District Disaster Management Authority issued an order marking four areas in Tiswadi taluka as micro-containment zones. Two are in Taleigao and one each in Caranzalem and in St Inez.

The areas are Dalta Apartment and Sai Prasad Building, Bhatlem Taleigao; Building C and D of Madhuban Complex, Tambdimati St Inez; Bldg 1, Models Estate, Caranzalem Taleigao; and H No C-16/146/1 Siddhi Vinayak Society, Vodlembhat.
The order was issued on Saturday following the representation by the Chimbel Primary Health Centre about how the areas are vulnerable to the spread of the disease.
