VASCO: Vasco Police arrested four persons in connection with smart phones, cash theft and assault case, on Monday evening.

As per the information provided by the Vasco Police, on Monday near the Central Bank of India, a person named Hrithik Uttam Chavan, aged 19 years old, from Rawanfond, Margao along with his three friends allegedly assaulted the complainant and his colleagues with fist blows, slaps and glass bottle on the head of the complainant’s friend causing them injuries and also committed theft of five smart phones and five wallets having cash of Rs17,000 and decamped with the stolen property all worth Rs 45,000 approximately.
Hrithik was arrested and kept in the police custody.
Late Monday evening remaining three suspects allegedly involved in this crime were also arrested.
Vasco Police have registered an offence under Section 394 R/W 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Police Sub-Inspector Amarnath Passi is further investigating the case.
