PONDA: Four stray dogs died of electrocution after coming in contact with a live wire which fell on road at Kavlem. However, the local youth alerted the pedestrians against walking by the side of road till the power in the area was shut.
The incident that took place around 4.30 pm on Thursday evening caused panic among locals when a live wire suddenly snapped and fell on road behind Tourist Complex at Kavlem. A stray dog died of electrocution after coming in contact with the live wire and as three other strays rushed towards the dog they too died of electrocution.
