Formerly Fr Caldeira, as secretary of the Diocesan Centre for Social Communication Media, was the spokesperson of the Archdiocese. Fr Francisco also served the Archdiocese’s Family Service Centre for around 20 years, where as director he executed the Church plan for the marriage formation courses. He was also a former Director of the Pastoral Institute, having spent much of his priesthood in taking forward the Church teachings through various arms of the Archdiocese.
He was currently the chaplain at the Chapel of St Thomas, Panjim, from where he edited the fortnightly bulletin.
