PANJIM: The Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2023 for admissions to professional degree courses such as Engineering and Pharmacy will be held on May 13 and 14.
The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has scheduled Physics and Chemistry papers on May 13, while Mathematics is on May 14.
DTE said that Common Prospectus, containing details regarding GCET as well as admissions to Professional Degree courses shall be duly notified on the DTE website www.dte.goa.gov.in.
GCET is conducted for screening of aspirants to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) courses. All students seeking admissions to MBBS, BDS, BHMS (Homeopathy), BAMS (Ayurveda), Allied Health Sciences (Paramedical), B.Sc. in Nursing and B.V.Sc and A.H. courses are required to appear and qualify at NEET UG-2021(National Entrance cum Eligibility Test).
DTE has already announced to discontinue with GCET from the academic year 2024-25.
