PANJIM: Goa Government Employees Association (GGEA) has asked Revnue Minister Rohan Khaunte to revoke the suspension of six employees of revenue department of Mapusa taluka who were suspended for two days on Wednesday for reaching office over 15 minutes late.
The union has written to the Minister requesting revocation. “This organisation appreciates your objective to deliver prompt services to the public and will always support you in the mission. However, in the spurt of anger you must have not realised that the employees will be kept away from their work for two days due to suspension, so the work will be further delayed for the public for two more days” the letter states.
