PONDA: A sixteen-year-old students of Lokviswas Prathishtan at Dhavlim, an NGO working for welfare of special children, committed suicide on Friday night at around 9 pm at her room by hanging to the ceiling fan using her dupata.
Ponda Police Sub Inspector Ajit Umarye conducted panchanama and is investigating the matter. The girl is originally from Dhodamarg and her parents are currently staying at Dharbandora. The cause of suicide is not known.
