PANJIM: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday appealed to the electorate from Navelim Zilla Panchayat constituency to give it a chance and see the changes within 10 months.
Addressing the last public meeting at Navelim, campaign manager Captain Venzy Viegas said, “A ward clinic will be commissioned before Christmas. In Benaulim where our candidate is elected to Zilla Panchayat, the ward clinic will be commissioned in September.”
He said the medical equipment distribution has already started in Benaulim ZP jurisdiction.
AAP candidate Matilda D’Silva said, “The ward clinic, anganwadi and improving streetlights will be my priority. We don’t get water for three days at times and this too has to be addressed.”
AAP Goa Convenor Rahul Mhambre said, “Benaulim has set the ball rolling by electing AAP candidate and appealed to Navelim to follow suit.”
Venzy thanked the volunteers who have been going door-to-door and also thanked the panchas for their support.
