PANJIM: Goa was allowed additional borrowings of Rs 223 crore by the Ministry of Finance to the States during 2020-21 against the One Nation One Ration Card reform (ONORC). Goa is now among the28 States/Union Territories (UTs) that have completed the Aadhaar seeding of respective ration cards.
Goa was given consent for the same from the Centre under the Open Market Borrowing (OMB) for the implementation of One Nation One ration Card (ONORC) scheme.

Till July 9, 2021, nearly 21.92 crore (92.8%) of total 23.63 crore ration cards have been Aadhaar seeded at the national level.
