MARCEL, NOV 27
The Goa Dairy employees have deferred their decision to go on mass leave on November 29, after Goa Dairy Chairman Madhav Sahakari assured to discuss the Sixth Pay Commission in the board of directors’ meeting on Wednesday.
It may be recalled that Goa Dairy employees had begun an agitation since November 22 demanding Sixth Pay implementation of wages.
The employees had decided to go on mass leave on November 29 to protest against the non-implementation of the sixth pay wages.
“Since Goa Dairy Chairman Madhav Sahakari has assured to take up the matter during the board of directors meeting, the decision to go mass leave has been postponed. However, we will decide on the future course of action only on Thursday,” said Workers Union leader Puti Gaonkar.
