Goa ED Raids 15 Locations Over Foreign Exchange Violations, Seizes ₹2.25 Crore and Foreign Currency

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted search operations under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) at 15 premises across Goa, Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Rajkot on Monday. The raids targeted M/s. Golden Globe Hotels Pvt. Ltd., M/s. Worldwide Resorts and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., and Big Daddy Casino in Goa.

During the operations, authorities seized ₹2.25 crore in cash, $14,000, and foreign currency worth ₹8.5 lakh. The ED investigation revealed that poker chips were being exchanged for foreign currency, and customer winnings were being paid out in foreign currency based on individual requests.
