Goa Extends CARES Coding and Robotics Programme in Schools for Five More Years

Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has announced a five-year extension of the CM Coding and Robotics Education in Schools (CARES) programme, which is implemented under the Directorate of Technical Education.

The Chief Minister said the initiative has delivered strong results — from teacher training to syllabus development — and has received an enthusiastic response from students across the state. He highlighted that the scheme has been especially impactful in rural areas, where growing numbers of students are learning coding and robotics.
