mapusa: GOACAN has called on the District Collector to tackle the problem of stray cattle in North Goa.
GOACAN has pointed out that the accident that occurred at Assonora and highlighted how stray cattle have affected road safety and traffic management. It requested the Collector to direct the officials of the Directorate of Panchayats and Municipal Administration, Traffic Police and DAHVS, to pursue an early solution to this problem of stray cattle in North Goa. GOACAN also urged the Collector to take the report on stray cattle as an Agenda item in the forthcoming meeting of the North Goa District Road Safety Committee
