Complainant Savio Dias who has been knocking the doors of all authorities in connection with the alleged illegal construction owned by Rebello at Mungul, approached the Urban Development Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Francis D’Souza in connection with the case.
Soon after the MMC Chief Officer Naveen SL had declared the construction as illegal and called for its demolition on April 8, D’Souza had issued a stay order.
Challenging that stay order, Dias who is represented by advocate Rajeev Gomes submitted an application to make him an intervening party in the case given that it was based on his complaint that the MMC CO had passed the demolition order.
The deputy chief minister accepted his intervention petition in the case and has called Dias to attend the next hearing on June 9.
