PANIM: Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant have extended their greetings on the nation’s 75th Independence Day.

In his message, the Governor said, “Today, we pay tribute to all these leaders who have gifted the people of India with one of the best Constitutions in the world. I salute our Armed forces who have been protecting the integrity of the nation with devotion, dedication and valour.”
In his message, Chief Minister Sawant said, “Independence Day invokes a sense of pride and honour among the countrymen. Our freedom fighters with their hard work and sacrifice endured numerous sufferings, to safeguard the socio-cultural ethos of our motherland.”
